Wall Street closes at a record for the first time since end of January
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 9.01% or 1,450.00 points to trade at 17,540.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 3.49% or 180.00 points to end at 5,340.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 2.88% or 1,320.00 points to 47,080.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT), which fell 3.09% or 285.00 points to trade at 8,950.00 at the close. Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) declined 2.59% or 870.00 points to end at 32,670.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 2.53% or 4,000.00 points to 153,900.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 287 to 175 and 80 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) rose to all time highs; up 3.49% or 180.00 to 5,340.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.99% or 0.62 to $62.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.81% or 0.54 to hit $66.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 11.13 to trade at $3,366.87 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.45% to 3.39, while EUR/ILS rose 0.55% to 3.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 98.01.
